I was asked the other day, “Out of all the audiobook series that you have published, which one did you like the most.” I had to give it some thought (I have listened to most of the series we have published, so a lot of thought is required).

But I would have to say the J.P. Beaumont series is my favorite. It is read by Gene Engene, one of the top readers in the country as rated by the L.A. Times and the Philadelphia Inquirer. No one has so clearly fit the role of J.P. Beaumont, a homicide detective in Seattle, as Gene Engene.

We published the first seventeen books in this series written by J.A. Jance until we lost the series to Harper Collins in N.Y., after they bought the original book publishing company.
